Congratulations to all who swam in the one hour swim national championship. This is the photograph that Robert Norris took of the participants in the annual event, which won DAM another national championship -- for the third consecutive year.

Hour Swimmers Log Nearly 1.2 Million Yards

Congratulations one hour swimmers. Although the final numbers are being compiled, preliminary results show that Davis Aquatic Masters swam nearly 1.2 million yards again in the annual One Hour Swim National Championship, which was held during the month of January. To be exact, 339 members swam for a total of 1,182,370 total yards. In the annual competition, each member swims for an hour. The club with the total yards wins the national competition. Last year, 313 members swam for a total of 1,082,915. Final results are still being tallied, so there will no announcement of a national champ for a while.
