Jane Russell led the DAM charge at the recent short course nationals. Swimming for the first time in her new age group (55-59), Jane set five team records (50 Back, 100 /200 Fly and 200/400 IM) while also picking up Top 10 medals in all five events, tying with Leslie Westergaard for most women's points at 29 each. Andy was the National Champion in the 50/100 Fly and the 100 IM, and runners-up in the 50/100 Free. Gary Swenor got in on the record binge by breaking his own 60-64 200 breast time from last year. Jennifer Phalen had a noteworthy meet, picking up her first-ever individual Nationals medal. Rounding out the 3-man, 3-woman team was Matt Roper.
