Our DAM-hosted long course swim meet is next Saturday, August 11, at the Charles Brooks Community Pool located on the campus of the Woodland HS. Every DAM member is invited to be both a competitor and a volunteer at the event. Please follow this link for swimmer registration. Signup at Civic/Schaal to volunteer to time or help in other important areas. We have sitting jobs such as swimmer check-in, and walking jobs like hospitality or entries and results distribution.

It is team policy to provide free DAM FAST swim caps to all DAM swim meet entrants and to always cover the costs of relays. The coaches will have DAM caps at the meet. Please represent your team with pride by also wearing a DAM shirt.

After the meet, when it's time to clear the deck and return all the DAM equipment to Civic, we could get done faster with extra hands and an extra truck/van to help clean up.

Other important reminders about the day of the meet, Saturday August 11:

***No CIVIC 7:00, 8:00 or 9:00 a.m. coached practices at Civic. There will still be lap swim at Civic from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Swimmers who want to get in a pool earlier than 10 a.m. may come Woodland and swim during the general meet warmup starting at 7:30 a.m.

***RELAYS - Only DAM swimmers who enter online by the midnight, August 9, deadline will be eligible to swim on DAM relays. We're assuming every DAM swimmer wants to be on relays, wherever possible. If you don't want to swim on relays, please email kahnswim@gmail.com before August 9.

***DECK-ENTRIES for the first two events are accepted until 8:15 a.m. on Saturday and all other deck-entered events must be submitted at least 30 minutes prior to the event start. DAM swimmers who deck-enter will miss out on the relay options. The relay assignments will be emailed out next Friday afternoon.
