One Hour Swim

   The 2022 champions shirts have arrived. Civic swimmers who ordered shirts can pick them up inside the DAM office at the Brady Bldg. Women's shirts are on a separate table from the men's and couples' shirts. Arroyo swimmers can pick up their shirts at Arroyo from Coach Kerry.

   A final CONGRATULATIONS goes out to all 129 DAM swimmers who, by combining to break the 10-year winning streak of New England Masters, brought the Championship Title back to Davis. Victory over NEM is not an easy accomplishment. In case you didn't know, here is the geographical image of that "club" which encompasses five states, 66,137 sq miles and a population of slightly over 11 million residents. `

   Currently, the population of Davis is 68,543 with a total sq mileage of 9.9. 

   Well Done One, and All.

The Berryessa Swim is Back!

   After a two-year pandemic hiatus, DAM will once again be hold the Annual Lake Berryessa Swims. This year's event will be on Saturday, June 4.

   The Berryessa Swim is one of the longest-running open water swims in the country. Each year HUNDREDS of swimmers travel to Lake Berryessa for the event. 

   This event is also a major fund-raiser for DAM (i.e. it helps keep our dues down), but it takes many volunteers to make it happen. We ask all DAM members to volunteer for one of the many volunteer positions. The jobs are 2-3 hours long. Some jobs take place in Davis, but the majority take place at the lake. All race-day jobs are compatible with swimming either the 1 or 2 mile race - so you can plan on doing both!

   All volunteers will receive a T-shirt, and we will provide snacks on the day of the event.

DAM Board Meeting

The next DAM Board meeting will be on Tuesday, April 12, at 6:30PM, in the Brady Building. This, and future, board meetings will be held on Tuesday evenings.
