Head Coach's Message

   We are getting close to another Pacific Masters Championship Meet! The Short Course Meters Championship will be held on 10/7-10/9 in Walnut Creek. Meets are a super fun way to get to know your teammates and see how you’ve progressed in the sport. There is a common misconception that you have to be fast to swim in meets. This is totally false. All ability levels are welcome at USMS meets. In fact, there are few places I have been that are as supportive as a USMS meet. If you are at all interested, follow the links below to get more information and/or get signed up. We’d love to have you there!!

Second Lifeguard Certification Class

   DAM will be holding a second lifeguard certification class on Saturday 10/1 from 12-4 pm in the Brady Building. If you have ever been a certified lifeguard in the past you are eligible to take this class. By becoming a second guard you’re making DAM a safer place to swim and also ensuring your workouts will never get canceled due to a missing second guard (because you will be the second guard). All the costs will be covered by the club, all we need is a few hours of your time. If you are interested please email Coach Matt at mzachan@damfast.org. Thank you for your support!!
