Head Coach's Message

If you’ve ever been a little curious about trying a meet for the first time (or for the first time in a while), the Vacaville meet on February 11th is a great opportunity for you to get back at it. The meet offers a 50 and 100 of each stroke along with a 100 and 200 IM and even a fun swim at the end. You can swim up to six events and you get to choose what you want to do! If you’re a little nervous about competition, don’t worry, we’re here to help you. Your teammates and coaches will be there to show you the ropes and cheer you on. If you have questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to me. I would love to see you there!

Coach Matt

One Hour Swim

The One Hour Swim is upon us! This event runs from 1/1-1/31 with registration closing on 2/3. Click HERE for all the information on the One Hour Swim including split sheets, fees, entry procedures, etc. We will have a sign up sheet at Civic (much like we did for the Brute Squad) for people to set up a time to complete their swim during a workout. As with the Brute Squad, a great time to do your swim is during weekend lap swim. Make sure you bring a buddy to count/time so you get accurate results.

Check out the All Time Top Twenty Swimmers for the One Hour Swim. Take a look at these records and see if you can get your name on the board this year!

The One Hour Swim is a very challenging event, however with the right mindset and preparation, you can do it! It’s a national competition that is all about participation. The more people who do it, the better we do. Last year we had the most participants and won! Let’s try to go back to back and win again this year!!

If you have further questions, feel free to reach out to Coach Matt
