Davis Aquatic Masters is a not-for-profit organization. Yes, there are fees you pay to be a member and to use the pool facilities, but that money goes directly to pay for pool rental, equipment, coach and substitute coach salaries.
We are committed to keeping our club in good financial health. We have a Financial Director who administers the financial aspects of our organization.
But it is you, and your generosity that keeps our club financially sound. Your generosity allows us to offer scholarships, and from time to time help out a member in need. The Board of Directors addresses the financial standing of the club at every monthly meeting. The board verifies that we maintain enough money in reserve and we make modest investments to secure the financial viability of the team. It is this reserve monies that helped us during the COVID pandemic.
Even though we conduct formal fundraisers, we count on you to donate what you can, when you can thoughout the year. The Board of Directors is apprised of donations and and are well aware of the ongoing generosity of our members.
